Our GVL Series of reed valves is designed for small and medium-sized piston compressors.
Valve Features:
-
the slots of the valve seats have an as for length extended development, with a circumference sector conformation. This means considerable wide sections;
-
the lamellae are obtained in one single piece with the intermediate insertion, which leads, together with the use of metallic material allowing the thermal discharge, to a reduction of the mechanic stress of the lamellae at their ends; this grants a longer life and more reliability of the valve group;
-
the reciprocating lift movement of the lamellae is therefore not given by the same insertion, but it is get in the thickness of the external discs. This leads to a reduction of mechanic stress and, as a consequence, to a better lasting time.
GVL valves are made of carbon steel or stainless steel and are available in various sizes, for piston diameters from 25mm to 140mm. Surface galvanizing treatments are available on customers’ request, allowing the valve to be used in various sectors including the food industry.
